Possibly the best biscuits and gravy I have had in a while. Eggs were cooked as requested. The waitress was efficient and attentive. $15 for coffee, biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs and 2 sausage links. The place is easy to find but hard to get there.

My friends brought me here for breakfast while I was visiting wichita. At first, it was just for the novelty of it being an old Dennys location, and my friend and I met at a Dennys 19 years ago. So, anyhow, the restaurant was well staffed, and the service was great. The menu has a lot to choose from, but I feel it's my duty to warn your bootyhole about the chiliquiles Verde. They are super, super good, but they are spicy. I had to board a flight a few hours later. The bathroom at 30,000 feet was not where I wanted to end up, praying for Tom Cruise to use his magic to save me. But still, would I get it again? Absolutely, I was just being a $^@/ and had some milk to go with the burn, but I do highly recommend it.

Little place off the highway, I ordered eggs Benedict the sides that it comes with is pancakes and hash browns. $10.99 for the meal good prices and good standard breakfast food they did a good job! My orange juice was like 3$ and it did not taste good. Just taste like water with a orange hint. Overall good experience I was helped by Ashley and another lady who didn't want to be called ma'am lol they were both very sweet and helpful thank you guys.

I have loved the food at this place since they first opened in Haysville years ago. Now, I rediscovered this place a few weeks ago and I am happy to say that the food is as good as I remember! The hamburgers are that perfect combination of just enough greasy to make it a guilty pleasure, and tasty enough to beat out high end burgers like Vora or the Scotch! The country fried steak is probably the best in Wichita! The crepes are better than Yia Yia's, and the Pancakes could teach IHOP a thing or two! The banana bread French toast is fantastic....honestly...the only diner of this type that comes close to being this good is DooDah...and for those foodies in Wichita that know anything, that's saying a lot! And let's not forget the Mexican/TexMex dishes on the menu....just plain delicious!

Food was amazing our server was super nice but kept messing up my drinks on the flavors. I was ok with it just wanted to realy try the one i ordered. They do charger $3 for one store bought english muffin so kinda disappointed in that.

Funny love and hate this place

We are really excited to return to this place when we get the opportunity to have breakfast in Wichita. Absolutely everything we ordered was just right. The hash browns were crispy and not greasy. My husband ordered his eggs basted which always seems a challenge for many kitchens but the chef here produced perfectly done eggs. His country fried steak could be cut with a fork. My eggs Benedict were perfect with delicious hollandaise. The pancakes were light and fluffy. Our waitress was attentive and personable and we thought the prices were on the low side for todays prices. Were so glad we found this place.

Terrible service. No communication from hosts/servers. I tried to place a to-go order and after waiting and waiting for anyone to acknowledge my existence, I flagged down two ppl who turned around and walked away. The 4th person took our order. And after 45 minutes we still have not received our food. You can have bad food and great customer service and I'll come back. But bad customer service it doesn't matter how good the food is I won't return

It's a bear to get to, but so worth it. Servings were huge. The eggs for my breakfast and my son's eggs Benedict were perfect. Very clean and friendly. Everything was cooked to perfection. The pancakes were fluffy, yet didn't get soggy with syrup. So good! Will definitely be back! Our new breakfast go to.

Fantastic dining experience from beginning to end. Our server, Ashley, was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. The food was extraordinary. I whole heartedly suggest the chiliverde skillet and the chicken fried steak. They supply a steak knife to cut the chicken fried steak but it's 100% unnecessary. It's so tender it cuts with a fork.

It's not just your average breakfast place. Even though they have your basic breakfast needs, there is more to this place than meets the eye and the pallette. A few of my favorites include the Nutella crepes with fresh banana add fresh strawberries and blueberries too and you won't regret it. Iced coffee with a shot of Bailey's or Fireball if you're feeling frisky, and the Mexican burger or the Hawaiian burger! Make it a double and add a Strawberry side salad or the grilled veggies. You won't be sad you did.

I had the chicken fried steak breakfast and it was delicious. Im from Texas and Ive tried chicken fried steaks in a lot of places and this is hands down one of the best! Thank you Melissa for the great service you provided. Will definitely be back!

You have to try the Banana Bread French toast . The Mexican burger is too and the Mangoneada mimosas are a great pick me up or the iced coffee with Bailey's. I absolutely love this place. Will return again and again.

I just love this place! There is a great variety of traditional breakfast menu items and some stellar signature items. It is locally owned and has that comfy vibe that can't be imitated by the chains. If you like spicy, try the Chilaquilas. The banana bread French toast is a must.
I have been to the East and West location. The East side is more modern and the West side more traditional diner but both are nice and clean.

Got a coffee and eggs Benedict with Oreo pancakes and hash browns. The service was great: I finally had a waitress who understands what a few minutes means when Im not ready to order yet. She even poured me an extra coffee to go! The food was also amazing and was a huge portion size for such a cheap meal. I highly recommend this place.

Rainii exceeded our expectations today at breakfast. She was quick kind and did everything with a smile. Rainii using my tables first language made the entire experience that much better. Rainii made sure to get our partys kids food out first even though she took it last. The food was like if waffle house was shutdown but they didn't want to close and not use all the locations so they made this to safice. Not gonna lie to yall the food was mid as hell pretty sure I was food poisoned by it but eh fuxk it atmosphere was there and it felt like going to waffle house at 4 am but just during the day instead.

Easy Egg... I was curious. First impression was "How the heck do you get into this place from US 400 (Kellogg)?" Noodled through Sam's, WalMart, and Furniture Row parking lots to get there. Must be an easier way, but I arrived. Place was BUSY at 10:30am. Older operation, reminiscent of a rundown Denny's, but very clean and comfortable. Service was great; friendly and fast. Food quality and taste was standard - meaning nothing stood out as a "wow-factor", but it was a good breakfast. Had the Easy Platter Combo ($12.99), which was more than most people could eat. No complaints. Pictures of menu attached. Note that there are a plethora of breakfast items with a Mexican twist, which was interesting. There is a new location (not yet open as of this writing) being readied on N. Rock, just south of K96, next to Lamar's Donuts, across from the Pancake House and Jimmie's Diner. Will be interested to try it!

Food was good , but a bit pricey, 20$for one breakfast plate, me and the wife split the meal , after we left, we went home and in made the same thing for around 12$, ...... 6$ each we were full with change to spare.

We dined at The Easy Egg on Sunday around noon. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated but didn't mind as they were very busy. When we were seated our server, Rainii was very friendly, greeted us and got our drink orders. She returned promptly with them. We knew what we wanted so we ordered immediately. Almost before we were settled into our seats, she returned with our food. It was piping hot and exactly what we had ordered. Rainii was attentive but not hovering. She brought refills on drinks frequently. We were amazed at how smoothly everything seemed too be running. It appeared that there was a lot of team work going on! Kudos to Rainii, they kitchen staff and all the other servers and hostess!

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. Food is always good. The place is usually always busy. But the most we have ever had to wait was maybe 10 mins. If you do have to wait, just remember the food is worth it.

This was the first place I ate when I came to Wichita so it holds a place in my heart . It's also where me and my girls first date was. It was Denny's at first but The Easy Egg has made this place a lot better. The food alone is a reason to go because you'll get full on deliciousness. Go because I want this place to never go away.

I generally try not to splurge when I'm on travel, but I'd been good the entire trip and had a couple hours to spare before heading to the airport, so I stopped for a late breakfast. Because, well, breakfast food is appropriate any time of the day, and I was about to spend the next five hours flying home.

What you see in the picture is a single order of biscuits and gravy that comes with two eggs any style (I chose over medium), an option of either hash browns or pancakes, one slice of bacon and a small pork sausage link shape, but it wasn't a link.

Well, in for a penny, in for a pound, so I went for the pancakes, telling myself that I would be able to have some modicum of self-discipline left and wouldn't eat the entire plate, maybe a few bites to satisfy the sweet tooth.

Let's start with the main course. I've eaten a lot of biscuits and gravy in my life, spent a significant amount of time in the south and mid-west and have tasted plenty of versions of biscuits and gravy. You would think that the gravy would be pretty straightforward, and you would be incorrect. There's a lot that can go wrong with sausage gravy, from the consistency to the spice, to the size of the ground sausage mixed in. I've had breakfast gravy that was flavorless, too peppery, too thin, too thick, and so on. And if you've ever traveled south of the Mason-Dixon line, then you'll know that biscuits are a regional sense of pride, regardless of whether made in someone's kitchen, or a diner, people take the quality of their biscuits personally, and that pride showed through with these.

So, the gravy. The gravy was perfectly prepared and served hot. Great richness, not too thick, perfect balance of salt, pepper, and spice, and gently flowed over the biscuits without being runny or gloppy. Absolutely delicious.

The gravy blanketed two biscuits that were each halved, and generously portioned giving me a nice covering of gravy with each fork full of biscuit.

The biscuits maintained a light fluffiness while carrying the gravy, and the bottoms had a nice, lightly crunchy crust to them - A real treat.

Eggs are eggs, until you under or over cooked them, which wasn't the case here. Over medium, exactly as ordered, giving me that rich yellow runny yoke, and thoroughly cooked whites with no raw egg whites.

For me, the sausage and the bacon were, meh. The sausage tasted like typical frozen sausage and wasn't particularly appealing looking, and for me, the bacon had a strange, maybe from the stainless steel grill, taste. I left both as they only served to detract from the rest of the meal.

Now here's why I didn't ding them a star for the bacon and sausage. The PANCAKES!!!! OMG, I expected generic pancakes, but no. These pancakes were incredible and a true surprise to finish an already delicious breakfast. The pancakes have a unique flavor, maybe vanilla? Not sure, it certainly wasn't overly pronounced, but it was perfect. The pancakes turned out to be the breakout star of the meal - WOW.

Yes, the biscuits and gravy are worth going back for, but if you are looking for a great breakfast and haven't tried the Easy Egg yet, you've gotta try the pancakes.

Wichita has no shortage of breakfast restaurants, plenty of great competition indeed. If you're looking for a great stop with friendly service and a clean atmosphere, try the Easy Egg.

I only gave three stars for atmosphere because, after all, it's a breakfast restaurant, not a fine dining restaurant, and while it was fine for what they are, it's hard to justify four stars while giving Scotch & Sirloin four stars for ambiance, too.

Finally, if you're curious, and it was really hard, I only ate one of the two pancakes. Had I known how good they would be, I may not have cleaned my biscuits and gravy plate, but that ship had already sailed.

Oh, yeah - even with a coffee and a 20 percent tip, you can get all that for under $20. A great meal at a great deal.

Try the pancakes, and please, please tip your wait staff well. If you're not going to tip, get take out.

I had an amazing experience the other day at this restaurant due to our server. On occasion my family and I come here and the wait staff is good, but this day our Server Rainii/ Rainey (sorry if I butchered that name) was spectacular. From not only taking the time to help us understand the menu and our options. To helping with our families complicated and some would call picky substitutions. This lady didnt judge us and made our experience phenomenal. The Chilaquiles verde were superb (her recommendation) and the breakfast churro things were great. The kitchen staff cook their butts off & the food tasted amazing. I wanted to say thank you to that young lady because without her being a bright light to our morning, I think it wouldve been an average experience! Rainii/Rainey if you see this, thank you for providing excellent service and going above and beyond for my family. We hope to see you on our next visit for breakfast.

I go out to eat breakfast here pretty often and have taken family members and they have all enjoyed the food every time we go. Definitely a better spot to go too than dennys or i hop. If you are going to try the chilaquiles be cautious because they are pretty spicy.

The service here is fantastic! The wait staff is great about helping each other. Weve been here when they are busy and for a late weekday breakfast when it wasnt too busy and the service has been on point each time. It is very clean and they do a great job of keeping the tables bussed.

We like to eat at local places when we travel, and this was a quaint little spot for our last breakfast in Wichita. The food was good, I can't complain. Our waitress was friendly, and the gentlemen at the front were very welcoming. Lots of Mexican inspired dishes on the menu.

I dont know which ones better the food or the hospitality but they were both OnPoint! The ladies were all super friendly, came to the table multiple times to make sure we were ok, despite it being a full house. I ordered the jalapeo chicken avocado omelette, which was so good. It had the right amount of spice to give your tongue that little ting, but not a huge overload. I dont usually finish a meal that big, but I finished it. I also had the fried biscuit bites, (that was the name on the menu), those were a little bit too sweet for my liking. I didnt realize they were going to be devoured and brown sugar, but they were still good. The strawberry crpes were amazing. I wouldve requested less cream cheese inside, but they were still amazing and if youve never had any before, I definitely recommend. It was extremely busy this day because it was Fathers Day so there wasnt many parking left. But we still got one the way it was sort of long but I think overall we waited 20 minutes for two. The bigger parties I believe had to wait a little longer.

Both my brother and I enjoyed our time here we recieved excellent service the establishment was well kept and they are the wait on your order is short. We decided to order green chilaquiles since we heard that they were pretty good. In my opinion these are a must try when you come to eat here the sauce that they use to prepare this dish is amazing. The best place to go for breakfast, lunch or anything in between. Super friendly staff are very attentive to make sure the coffee is full and making sure you have what you need.
The menu has the typical and not so typical items including senior options. You can have a mimosa which not all restaurants have. I will definitely go back.

Came for christmas and the day after. food is phenomenal! unfortunately they were short staffed the day after christmas and even though the servers tried to serve each table as best as they could, people were still mean. My wife and I like their country fried steak breakfast with hash browns and wheat toast. The meat is tender enough to easily cut with just a fork, the breading stays on till the last bite and the flavor is great! The hash browns are crisp without being hard and also have great flavor. The location may be a bit inconvenient to get to for some but the food and friendly staff is worth it. Their prices are reasonable and the food is good, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal.

The experience was ok. Even though we made a reservation for a specific time we still waited over 20 minutes to be seated. The staff was friendly and the service was good once we were seated. The food was pretty tasty, but wasn't as good as everyone was saying it was supposed to be. I do really appreciate the availability of alcoholic drinks available for breakfast. Overall I liked it. Not sure if I would go back on my own, but if someone that I was with wanted to go, I wouldn't oppse it.

We tried The Easy Egg for the first time today. Breakfast on a Sunday morning included a 20 minute wait time but it was so worth the wait. I tried the banana bread french toast and my husband had the chicken fried steak. The French toast was phenomenal, perfectly cooked with the right amount of sweetness. The chicken fried steak was one of the best in the city with a crispy and well seasoned breading. The only (very small) criticism we had was that the country gravy was a tad peppery for our taste. Even the coffee was great. We'll definitely be back.

There's going to be a long line here on a Sunday morning, and not just because most diners are busy at that time.

As I frequently do at diners, I ordered the country/chicken fried steak breakfast. It's a good way to find out what their gravy is like, with a dish that can handle a large variety in gravy quality. They're on par with the average diner - too much black pepper in the gravy. It would overpower biscuits and gravy.

The chicken fried steak itself is great. Perfect crunch, excellent seasoning.

I got the chicken and spinach crepes with the spicy sauce on the side as recommended by the waitress when I said I wasn't into spicy. It was a lot of sauce and if all that had been on top would have been too hot for me. The crepes had lots of filling! Variety of side choices for meal, not just typical hash browns.

I have just moved to Wichita, so I have eaten out for every meal in a week because my kitchen wasn't unpacked yet, and so far the Easy Egg is the best place I have eaten. I can see myself easily becoming a regular at the Easy Egg.
If you are going to try this place out, I'd recommend the broken yolk sandwich. It's a pretty simple sandwich but every part of it was made perfectly and it was absolutely delicious.
The staff there was also much more welcoming and friendly than I am used to back where I lived (Texas) so that alone impressed me. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this place.

First of all this place has the absolute best country fried steak I've ever had! My friends and I were there today. My friend ordered a Dr. Pepper which they had run out of so she went with water. Later as we were eating, the waitress brought her a Dr. Pepper. Come to find out, the owner ran out and bought some. They really went above and beyond. I absolutely love this place. Oh and by the way, do yourselves a favor and try the strawberry salad too!!!

First of all this place has the absolute best country fried steak I've ever had! My friends and I were there today. My friend ordered a Dr. Pepper which they had run out of so she went with water. Later as we were eating, the waitress brought her a Dr. Pepper. Come to find out, the owner ran out and bought some. They really went above and beyond. I absolutely love this place. Oh and by the way, do yourselves a favor and try the strawberry salad too!!!

I met a friend here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. It still looks like the old Dennys on the inside..no updates for the new place but the food made up for the boring atmosphere. I had a veggie omelet and it was great! Full of freshly sauted veggies and the perfect amount of cheese. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend for breakfast and lunch and will for sure be going back!!

They got a really good breakfast..

In the old dennys building and I really enjoyed my breakfast burrito! It came out super fast and was really hot, there were a decent number of people in the restaurant. The hash browns fell a bit short for me, they were very dry. My server Sadie was great and kept my water and coffee full the whole meal!

I ordered chilaquiles everything was really good except the chips they were too crunchy as a mexican the chips need to be more soft. but the flavor was really good.

I met 2 friends for lunch. The food was excellent. Kim was our waitress. She is super efficient and has a great personality. I will definitely come back. Oh, I had the Mexican burger. It was spicy just the way I like it. Good job to the cooks.

We arrived at about 10am on a Saturday. There were a lot of people but the waitresses were friendly and we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was calming and nice with a modern flaire. I ordered the veggie omelet and a half order of the strawberry crepes. Both were very good! I really loved the crepes, they were filled with creme cheese and were fairly big for crepes. The veggie omelet was well filled and tasted good. My husband got the chicken chrepes with jalepeno sauce and a half order of banana strawberry french toast. The chicken crepes with jalapeno sauce was bigger than I expected abd well filled, the sauce was pretty spicey too. My husband loved it, but it was too spicy for weak little me. His french toast was a little dense but it tasted good! The coffee was pretty good for a diner, I was suprised. I definitely enjoyed our visit. I would love to go back again!

The food was excellent! I had the French toast, which is thick slices of banana bread, covered in banana slices, strawberry slices, blueberries and caramel sauce. Soo good, a ton of food. I ordered the full plate, but it was too much for me, couldn't finish two slices of the bread. So next time I'll order half. They are a busy place, so be patient! They were still pretty quick, though.

It's one of our favorite places to go. After losing several other places we used eat at, we were watching for new places. The service & food is fantastic. Staff is very attentive & friendly. It's hard to find places like this. It's simply awesome. Great parking & accessible too.

Great west side breakfast. Unique dishes along with classics and reasonably priced. Server was pleasant, other employees seemed annoyed or tired not sure maybe something else was going on. I got steak omelette and my wife got pork chops and eggs. Would recommend and will be back.

The food is good the service is pretty fast for as busy as they are. The value is awesome. I showed up on Sunday and they were jam packed waited last night waited less than 30 minutes to get seated and was an out in less than an hour

The Easy Egg is a fantastic place to eat. The food is outstanding and the staff is courteous and prompt. It's close to the airport, but can be tough to access if your not familiar with the area. Good going guys! I'll be coming back.

I have to start off by saying we were hesitant to eat here. We've tried several local joints and not many have held up. And since we don't go out for breakfast on weekends like we used to, we will usually stick with our favorites.
Adding that, I'm just sad we didn't come sooner. Seriously. This has surpassed our usual joint for the last 5 years. The food was amazing. The service was great and the speed was surprising. All the staff seemed very well organized. It was a 20 min wait when we got there. But so worth it and time went by fast. That was longest part. We got in. Greeted immediately, got our drinks right after ordering. Server came back promptly after for food orders.
The prices were very reasonable. I subbed the 1/2 Nutella crepe for pancakes. It was only .99 cents to sub! Such a deal!!!! And our food. Came out within like 10 minute's of ordering? Quick. So much that we thought it would be frozen. Nope. All fresh. All amazing. All homemade. We were so very impressed with everything here. We will most definitely be back. 10/10 , recommend

I was pretty apprehensive about trying this place. But after 2 people told me that it was absolutely delicious I decided to try it.
I was very impressed. The service was decent and the food was absolutely amazing. I am a very picky eater. I know sometimes that it's just me being a butthead. My eggs were cooked perfectly, my hash Browns were cooked perfectly, my bacon was amazing, my toast was wonderful. My coffee tasted amazing it DID NOT taste burnt . It was really nice. I will definitely be back again. I think I have found my new favorite restaurant.

Awesome gravy

This was our first time in. Very busy, (good sign) short wait before getting seated. Staff was very polite and the food was amazing. Wait staff fell short at the end of the meal, no drink refill and disappeared after saying they where tired! Had to wait awhile for a ticked before leaving......
Can't let a little poor service keep us from eating good food. I do believe that we will try this place again.

I ordered a chicken fried steak and it came with eggs ( mine were scrambled) , hash browns and pancakes. The chicken fried steak was outstanding and the eggs and pancakes were very good as well. My hash browns were burnt on top so I didn't eat them. The staff isn't very good about checking on you but they are quick to bring you your food and drinks. I noticed the light above my table was quite dusty and the staff might be called relaxed Instead of professional. Might be back for the chicken fried steak in the future.

Fantastic food and people!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now but they are always so busy. I've heard nothing but good things about this place so I definitely had to see for myself. I will say I wasn't disappointed with the food or the service.

Been twice. Chicken fried steak breakfast both times. First time was 5 stars. Second time 3 stars. The chicken fried steak was a ground beef patty. For me it was not very enjoyable. I hope they switch back.

The spot for an absolutely delicious breakfast! Everything was cooked to perfection, from the Eggs Benedict to the pancakes. They also offer a wide selection of omelettes. You need look no further for the perfect brunch stop, with friendly, attentive waitstaff.

I just loved it! Best chicken crepes ever! Yes! Better than IHOP chicken crepes! I'd recommend getting the jalapeo sauce on the side because it's delicious as is. Our waitress Andrea was so helpful and sweet! I can't remember the last time a waitress noticed I was getting low on coffee and filled it up without me asking! My husband asked for the no cream cheese on his crepes and they were very accommodating!

Staff was so kind and professional. The food was so worth the wait! We got the chilaquiles and the kick was amazing. The hard work is not unnoticed :) this is a new fav, thank you so much!

Tried this place for Sunday brunch and wow! I couldn't believe how easy it was to get a table even though there was a wait. Our Service was excellent and the food was very good, hot and fast. Shout out to Andrea who took fabulous care of all of our needs with a warm and inviting smile. See ya next Sunday for sure.

A coworker and I decided to take the plunge today and make our first visit. Our waitress was pleasant, I ordered the pork chops, sunny side up eggs, pancakes and hashbrowns. he ordered the country fried chicken.

I love everything about my food. The pork chops were tasty, eggs well cooked, pancakes light and fluffy and hashbrowns crispy but not overdone.

He enjoyed everything about his meal except part of his CFS was VERY greasy. The parts that were less greasy were delicious.

We will definitely be back as it was a ton of delicious food for the money. Thanks Easy Egg!!

I was surprised on how good this dinner was going to be. Especially with all of the staff shortages. We were taken very good care of and had an amazing brunch. Did not even have to wait that long to be seated, and once we were someone was right there to answer any questions we had and take our order. Give us suggestions on what we were in the mood for. I will definitely be going back to eat here again. It's the old Denny's building on the frontage road. I am not sure of the hors that they are open, but I suggest you go and try it.

OMG! Today is my birthday and me and the wife decided to try this place out! Let me tell you that this might be my new favorite place for breakfast. I don't know why they brought out a knife. Wifes omelet was awesome as well. Huge portions and our waitress was awesome. She recommended what my wife got. We love The Easy Egg! Yes, there was a long wait for food on their first weekend in their new location. We knew the food was worth the wait, and waited patiently. We went back for the second weekend at the new location, and it was obvious the owner had amped up the kitchen staff and was ready to take on the new volume of customers they have coming in to their New Wichita location. We have always received great customer service, the food is always phenomenal, and we anxiously look forward to our family breakfast at Easy Egg every weekend!

I don't leave reviews often, but OMG this place was AMAZING. The wait was a little long, but totally worth it. The food was fantastic (we got the chorizo crepes with steak, the banana bread French toast and sides of breakfast potatoes). Could not be happier with a cute little eatery. The price was also awesome, as they offer half portions as well. Highly recommend, especially for out of towners like us.

My daughter and I each had the Chicken Avocado Sandwich. She chose the very delicious potato soup, and I had the strawberry salad with vinaigarette dressing. Also delicious.
It took about 15 minutes for the meal to come out, and the music from the kitchen was louder than in the lobby.
Surprised I haven't been here yet, but we will definitely be returning!
